PORTRAIT OF LINO TORRE

Santiago. San Clemente

1923

Bronze

58x56x34

He was the first rector elected by the faculty in the process of autonomy of the university, of which he was a professor.

Noted for its realism, it reproduces the physiognomic traits and serenity and poise of the portrayed, who appears dressed with the gown but without cape (the work of the cloth is notable for his effort to reproduce the quality of the fabrics) and with his medal.

It's signed and dated.
